Some wonderful nostalgic moments start with “It feels like a lifetime ago . . .” Many times there are fond memories that follow that line, wonderful shades that might seem brighter than they were because of the distance. There is everything good about remembering good things.

However, the perspective of God is different – maybe it’s time to tweak and reframe some memories.

God’s view of love is near, and His view of sin is far, like it was a lifetime ago – or more (Mic 7:19, Isa 43:25, Heb 8:12) In other words, the best things in your life are happening right now, because the love of God is in you and pouring out through you. The sin we used to feel chained to died with our old man – it literally was “a lifetime ago.” We are brand new and our future is LOVE.

Psalm 103:11 For as high as the heavens are above the earth, so great is his love for those who fear him; ¹² as far as the east is from the west, so far has he removed our transgressions from us.

Do a study of Psalm 103 – it’s short, and the more we read it, the more it will blow our mind.
