I love Jesus, my wife, kids and His world! To have one more day to see God do outrageous good in my world gets me energized daily. My secret desire is to be a ninja pastor when I grow up.

This site is a home for spiritual encouragement and insight.

Confession: I’m a night owl. Belief: Spiritual disciplines aren’t just for morning people.  Confession 2: I’m going to see God do more and more outrageously good things in my world. I’m the Lead Pastor at Journey Life Church in Holt MI – journeylifechurch.com.

Confession 3: I translate Scriptures myself sometimes. JST=Jared Stepp Translation. Yes, I’m qualified to do this: Master’s in Advanced Biblical Languages, a Doctorate in Ministry and 2 years of PhD work. And no, I won’t sue you if you use my translations elsewhere.
